Our colorful dreamcatcher earrings, lovingly hand-crafted in Peru, use thread and glass beads with a surgical steel core for a jewelry accent that's modern yet rich in tradition and style.

Developed by the Ojibwa culture, the dreamcatcher, or bawaajige nagwaagan, is a charm that is hung above a bed to protect children from nightmares. Traditionally made of willow and sinew, they are meant to dry out and collapse by the time a child reaches the age of adulthood. This "dream snare" is a hoop, on which is woven a loose net or web, and then decorated with sacred items such as feathers and beads.

  • Steel, thread, & glass beads
  • 2.25" H x 0.75" W (5.7 x 1.9 cm)
  • Handmade in and fairly traded from Peru

June 20, 2015 - These earrings are phenomenal!!! I ordered every colour and was not disappointed :)

May 27, 2015 - The earrings were beautiful

January 10, 2015 - She loved it. They look wonderful on it and it helps out the furry friends.

December 12, 2014 - These are SO beautiful!!! They are light and eye catching. I love them. The reason for 4 stars is because the loops are a cheap metal and made my ears all red and inflamed and itchy! If you are sensitive to metals, replace the hooks when you get them! They are very worth it!

December 7, 2014 - These earrings are attractive, and what a deal! I purchased a pair for my daughter and one for me.
