Their fair-trade enterprise, Sapia, employs thirty-two women, with over fifty more working as independent contractors -- each receiving a living wage for her work.

  • Seeds, leather, & metal
  • Wrap style bracelet
  • 4.5" diameter total (11.4 cm)
  • Handmade in and fairly traded from Colombia

Created to help women worldwide gain economic security for themselves and their families by earning fair wages for their handiwork, Global Girlfriend sources women-made, fair-trade imported, eco-friendly products. By supporting long-term partnerships with the artisans, it fosters equal employment opportunities, healthy and safe working conditions, technical assistance, and development strategies to help reduce poverty, one community at a time. March 17, 2014 - Ordered the lilac bracelet and love it. It's very comfortable on. Decided to order a few more colors. Really cute bracelet.

October 2, 2013 - I like the way the bracelet looks. The orange color looks actually more like red. However, after only a week of use, the silver leather strip has already started to 'crack' and lose its silvery coating. I am not sure how long this will last.
