A great symbol of spirituality, the tree of life is beautifully etched onto lightweight earrings. Vibrantly dyed tagua nut is sliced into delicate discs and hard carved by fair trade artisans in Colombia.
Also known as vegetable ivory, the tagua nut is sustainably harvested from the rainforests of South America. Once dried, it can be cut and shaped into various jewelry pieces and dyed a kaleidoscope of colors, creating a cruelty-free alternative to real ivory.

These earrings are beautiful and very lightweight. I bought the turquoise and it's more a true turquoise shade than the blue that is shown.
