Sustainable materials and exquisite design merge in one breathtaking pair of earrings. Thinly-sliced tagua nuts are collected from the rainforest floor, carved, dyed, and etched by women in Colombia to create knockout works of wearable art.
Since the year 2000, entrepreneurs Ana Piedrahira and Javier Cardenas have been working with low-income women artisans to improve their lives for the better. Their fair-trade enterprise, Sapia, employs thirty-two women, with over fifty more working as independent contractors -- each receiving a living wage for her work.
- Bronze, Gold, or Slate

January 4, 2014 - I bought the bronze and the slate earrings. I really like them! They were a little bigger than I expected, but it didn't make that big of a difference because they are so lightweight.
May 11, 2013 - These are more beautiful 'in person' than the pictures show. I bought the bronze and gold for a gift and the young lady loves them!
May 2, 2013 - I purchased the bronze set and they are as beautifully detailed as shown in the picture. Lightweight so comfortable to wear.
