Recycled Huipil Cosmetic Bag

Item # 42941
No longer available

A jubilation of color and breathtaking Mayan design, our handwoven carryall casts a touch of magic upon your daily routine in sweet streamlined style.

The indigenous Mayans still living in Guatemala are well known for their colorful native dress, lovingly created by hand on vintage looms. The huipil (wa-peel) is a traditional blouse carefully woven with intricate patterns incorporated into the fabric or embroidered on top. Each village has their own design and unique color combination -- many of which have remained unchanged since pre-Columbian times.

  • 100% cotton
  • Zips at top
  • Inner plastic lining
  • 5" T x 4.75" W (12.5 x 12 cm) with a 25" L strap (63.5 cm)
  • Made in and fairly traded from Guatemala
Due to the nature of recycled huipil, each pouch is unique. Please allow us to choose for you.
