Glass "Evil Eye" Bird Magnet
Many cultures believe that envy of others can cause harm, whether intentional or not. To provide protection from negativity and physical harm, "evil eye" protective amulets, also known in Turkey as "Nazar (evil eye) Boncugu (beads)," dangle from car bumpers, are pinned to babies' clothes, are built into the foundations of modern buildings, and guard the doorways of kebab houses.
Handmade in Turkey, this "evil eye" is presented as the eye of a blue-and-white marbled glass dove. A strong magnet is mounted to the back -- making it a perfect way to hold bills, "to-do lists," and report cards to fridges, file cabinets, or wherever the whim strikes you.
Magnet measures 1" T x 1.25" W (2.5 x 3.2 cm).

May 2, 2013 - Very unique item and well made. Looks great anywhere and a fun surprise when you first see it. I wish the description of it's origin would have been included.
March 14, 2013 - Very cute and I love the blue/white design. It looks really nice on my refridgerator.
February 14, 2013 - Really small, but nicely detailed and unusual. I love it, but it's not going to "hold" anything more than a single sheet of paper. It's really tiny, but I still like it.
February 2, 2013 - This was way too small in size to put anywhere that would be visible. I expected it to come with the explanation as I was giving it as a gift.
