Handmade in Colombia, this necklace features a center indentation with the kanji for "dream". The outside edge of the slice is left with its hull intact for vibrant color variation.

Tagua is a type of palm nut that is sustainably harvested from the South American rainforest. Often referred to as vegetable ivory because of its similarities to ivory, it can be dyed a myriad of vibrant colors.

Size of tagua nuts will vary, but they average 1.5" L. (3.8 cm). Necklace measures 28" L total (71.1 cm) and adjusts to your preference. Handmade in and fair-trade imported from Colombia.

December 5, 2012 - The necklace I received was a much paler and yellower green, a wasabi color, and was a bit longer oval. The way the center is pushed in really does look like a thumbprint.
