A great symbol of spirituality, the tree of life is beautifully etched onto lightweight earrings. Vibrantly dyed tagua nut is sliced into delicate discs and hard carved by fair trade artisans in Colombia.

Also known as vegetable ivory, the tagua nut is sustainably harvested from the rainforests of South America. Once dried, it can be cut and shaped into various jewelry pieces and dyed a kaleidoscope of colors, creating a cruelty-free alternative to real ivory.

  • Purple, Green, or Turquoise
  • Tagua
  • Approximately 1" W x 1.25" H (2.5 x 3.2 cm)
  • Handmade in and fairly traded from Colombia
Due to the nature of this product, no two will be alike.

July 9, 2014 - Bigger than I expected! Beautiful! I bought the matching necklace too.

June 3, 2014 - I purchased the purple with matching necklace. I got compliments the very first time I wore them. So pretty and delicate. Very unique.

January 9, 2014 - Light-weight, quarter-sized, whimsical tree design - - - delightful!

November 18, 2013 - love these earrings! They are very light in the ears and very pretty.

April 30, 2013 - These earrings are pretty and delicate. Another great conversation starter, and a happy addition to my collection of earrings. However, if you're looking for mass-production precision in the shape of the earrings and mirror images of the Tree of Life, you will be disappointed. I ordered the green ones. The general shape of each earring is very close, and there is a slight difference in the etching. Personally, I like this because it is reflective of the handiwork of a human, not a machine.
