A Young Haitian Student

Give an Education

Haiti has the lowest rate of school enrollment in the Western Hemisphere. Without a secondary education, a young Haitian is unable to find a good job or attend college.

In response to the educational crisis in Haiti, GreaterGood is launching The Other Side Campaign to build a quality high school in Haiti.

Support Malaria Vaccine Research

It's hard to believe that something as simple as a mosquito bite has caused the death of over 1.5 million people in 2008 and 2009, combined. If researchers are to succeed in stopping the spread of malaria, they need the support of health organizations and the governments of the world.

Tell President Obama to lend more support to the cause of preventing, treating, and curing malaria—a goal that, if realized, would save the lives of millions.

Buses Urgently Needed for Safety of Afghan Schoolgirls
For a girl living in Afghanistan, going to school can be dangerous. In early November 2008, two men sprayed acid into the faces of girls as they walked to school, causing serious injury. In an effort to prevent further attacks, the Safe Ride to School program was created to purchase a school bus and hire a driver. Five years later, the bus is breaking down and we need to purchase another to ensure the girls of Mirwais Mena School get to class safely.

This Gift That Gives More helps a young Afghan girl get a safe ride to school by contributing to the purchase of a new bus.
