Dancing for HIV Education

In countries like Ethiopia, HIV/AIDS is steeped in stigma and misunderstanding. In an environment where cultural attitudes lead people to assume that the disease is a punishment from God, educators have a difficult job trying to spread the message of how to protect oneself from the disease.

Enter a fierce dance troupe called Addis Beza. They use their moves to attract a crowd and then share information on HIV prevention and testing.

Watch their innovative way of using music and dance as a powerful tool to address a serious health message to their peers.
