Bayalpata Hospital in Nepal celebrates its first anniversary

With the help of the Nepali Ministry of Health and Population, this project offers the people of Achham a full outpatient department, delivery ward, 24-hour emergency care, family planning services, pharmacy, and lab.

Within a few months of opening, the hospital and its staff also proved crucial in fighting a severe severe diarrhea/cholera outbreak in the district.

In 2010, the hospital began providing such an additional services as an ambulance transportation and an x-ray machine (the area's first) to help with diagnosis. 

Nyaya Health is a Nepal- and USA-based public health experts and healthcare providers who use their collective expertise to develop long-term improvements in healthcare delivery.
